Preparing for departure in ARC Raiders is one of those jobs that looks simple until you actually start checking your stash. The Caravan Loading Phase asks for a large amount of value, and your ARC Raiders BluePrints can make the preparation feel even more complicated because you still need to decide which resources and equipment are worth keeping for future crafting.
The final loading stage requires 830,000 Coins worth of eligible items, split between four categories. While your ARC Raiders BluePrints remain useful for future progression, the items you contribute to the Caravan are judged by their normal selling price. Understanding that difference helps you avoid throwing away equipment that could be more useful elsewhere.
Understanding the Four Caravan Categories
Stage 5 has four separate targets, so simply reaching 830,000 Coins overall is not enough. You need to satisfy each category individually.
Combat Items require 250,000 Coins and include weapons, weapon modifications, ammunition, grenades, and traps. Materials are the largest requirement at 300,000 Coins, covering basic, advanced, refined, recyclable, and Topside materials.
Provisions require another 180,000 Coins. This group includes keys, Nature items such as fruit, Trinkets, and Old World items. Finally, Survival Items require 100,000 Coins and include Shields, Augments, Utilities, Gadgets, and regenerative items.
The numbers are worth remembering because they change how you should sort your stash. Having plenty of weapons does not help if you are missing the Materials requirement.
Why Selling Price Matters
One detail that can easily cause confusion is how the game calculates Caravan contributions. The value comes from an item's standard selling price rather than the higher price you might have paid to obtain it.
That means you should not assume an expensive purchase automatically provides the same amount of Caravan value. Before contributing something, look at what the game actually gives you for selling it.
This is especially important for weapons and equipment. A weapon might have a useful role in your next few raids even if its selling value is attractive. If you contribute it too early, you may have to replace it later.
Materials Should Be Planned First
Materials represent the largest single requirement at 300,000 Coins, so they are a good place to begin.
Take a look through your stored resources and separate materials you still need for crafting from materials that are simply accumulating. Surplus resources can become an efficient way to build Caravan value without sacrificing your favorite weapons.
There is no benefit to rushing this process. If a material is needed for an upgrade you still want to complete, keeping it may be more sensible than using it for the Caravan.
Managing Combat Items Without Losing Your Loadout
The 250,000-Coin Combat requirement gives you several options. Weapons and modifications can contribute substantial value, but ammunition, grenades, and traps also count.
For many players, surplus consumables are worth checking before valuable weapons. If you have more ammunition or tactical equipment than you expect to use before departure, those items can help reduce the requirement while preserving your preferred gear.
The best approach is to consider practical value as well as selling value. The item with the highest number is not automatically the item you should sacrifice.
Finishing Provisions and Survival Items
Provisions can be handled in a similar way. Keys may be valuable for future activities, so there is little reason to contribute a key you still intend to use. Extra fruit, Trinkets, and Old World items can be more convenient choices when you have accumulated a surplus.
Survival Items only require 100,000 Coins, making them the smallest category. Shields, Augments, Utilities, Gadgets, and regenerative items all qualify. Since this threshold is lower, careful sorting can often complete it without damaging your main setup.
Preparing for the Fifth Expedition
Once all four Stage 5 requirements are complete, Stage 6, Departure, becomes available.
The fifth Expedition runs from September 8 through September 29, 2026, and it changes how bonus Skill Points are earned. Earlier systems rewarded the next Raider based partly on combined raw currency and stash value, with one permanent bonus Skill Point for every 1,000,000 Coins up to five points.
For this Expedition, active damage thresholds replace that system for the primary bonus points. The thresholds range from 5,000 to 100,000 damage. Players trying to recover missed historic points can still use the catch-up mechanic, which requires 300,000 Coins of stash or currency value per point.
What Survives the Reset
Departure resets several parts of your current Raider's progression. Level, skills, standard blueprints, and inventory do not carry over.
Raw Coins, Cred, cosmetics, and permanent Stash Space upgrades do carry over. This makes it important to understand exactly what you are giving away during Stage 5.
Once the Caravan is ready, check your remaining stash before departing. Keeping useful resources and equipment can make the next Raider's early runs much smoother.
Final Caravan Preparation
The Caravan is easier to manage when you treat each requirement as a separate budget instead of one enormous 830,000-Coin target. Sort your stash carefully, protect equipment you still need, and use surplus resources wherever possible. With the final Expedition approaching, planning your departure around what actually carries forward can make the reset much less painful, while keeping your ARC Raiders Coins available for the next cycle.
